Young Chicago Saves

We were honored to be a part of the panel of the Young Chicago Saves conference, held at the Harold Washington Library on February 26. This is an annual conference put on by the Economic Awareness Council to help teens gain financial savvy and it kicks off the Young Illinois Saves statewide savings initiative every year.  Students from five schools around Chicago attended, with over 170 students in attendance. We were proud to share the stage with other entrepreneurs and innovators who have created such diverse products and organizations as The X Cube, HispanicPro, True Star Magazine and Nchantment Shoes and Accessories. The panel discussed entrepreneurship and investing strategies for success, and the diversity of perspectives gave us an awful lot of food for thought ourselves.

It’s exciting to be able to share information with students, and build the next generation of entrepreneurs and investors. We hope that everyone else got as much out of the conference as we did!
